Unique Slow Jewelry

The .9 Atelier

.9 gioielli was established in Padua in 1998. My unwavering dedication and motivation led me to founding the atelier with a clear mission: to provide ample room for creativity in crafting unique and personal jewels.

I pay meticulous attention to details and design, fashioning my creations from sterling silver, occasionally incorporating precious gemstones, reserving gold for situations where it is truly essential.

I receive visitors by appointment only, ensuring undivided attention and allowing me to draw inspiration from those who seek my creations.

The number 9 holds profound significance for me and has been a constant companion throughout my journey.

It is the civic number where everything began to take shape, and over the years, even as the location has changed, .9 continues to embody my brand.

.9 also serves as the emblem of my collections, the designs that have evolved over the years, giving birth to iconic pieces that are recognised and cherished by my clientele.

My story

At the core of my work lies study, research, empathy, and attentive listening.

I studied Metal Arts at the Institute of Art in Padua, where I had the opportunity to unleash my creativity. After completing my studies, I embarked on a quest for a different way to express my style, crafting personal, unconstrained jewels.

Each of my creations has a distinct identity and a deep meaning, intertwined with my personal research.

.9 gioielli is born from a synergy of ideas and the desire of those who come to me to create something together.

They are designed to be worn, experienced, and to reflect the personality of the wearer.

Simonetta Moretto, beyond jewelry

Throughout my career, I have always merged various disciplines.

Over the years, I have honed my creative skills through collaborations on diverse projects.

My work has taken centre stage in exhibitions, events and trade fairs, including the Milan Design Week, and it has graced the pages of numerous specialised publications and magazines.

I’ve ventured from the realms of fashion to industrial design and have dedicated my expertise to the educational sphere as well.

Recently, I had the privilege of collaborating with Colnago, a highly esteemed company in the bicycle industry. I had the honour of working alongside Colnago’s designers to bridge the worlds of exquisite bicycle craftsmanship with high-end jewelry, resulting in a true gem integrated into the headset cap of the Colnago Gioiello N.1.

During the Milan Jewelry Week 2023, dedicated to the realms of luxury and contemporary jewelry, two .9 pieces were chosen and featured within the Artistar event.

My commitment and passion for the field of jewelry have been acknowledged with the prestigious title of Master Artisan of Veneto, symbolising a rich heritage of knowledge and experience to be preserved and passed on to future generations.
